The included ETFE film is engineered to transmit the specific wavelengths of UV light needed for vitamin D production (290–315 nm), while also allowing visible and infrared light to pass through for warmth, detox, and relaxation.

The original SunBath™ was tested outdoors at 18°F (-7°C) with snow on the ground — and still produced a warm, beach-like experience inside. Many users enjoy sauna-like detox effects in summer and comfortable warming sessions in winter.
